NSP presents KID MUSIC! at the OLD Zoo! (Sunday, September 5th, 2010)

PLEASE NOTE:  The time on this flyer is WRONG.  The event is now at 2pm (not 3pm).  We apologize for any inconvenience!

Hey Kiddos!

Next Sunday, September 5th, head on over to the OLD Zoo in Griffith Park for some children’s music featuring Ukulady and Friends.  There will be some AMAZING special guests!  It’s a short and quick trail – fun and easy for the whole family!  Oh – and in case you have forgotten, all of our events are FREE!

Directions:  Take the Griffith Park exit of the 5 and head North on Crystal Springs Drive.  There MAY still be some orange signs for “FREE SHAKESPEARE”.  That’s not us – we’re just borrowing their location for the day.  We’ll do our best to throw some “NSP” signs up.  Head into Griffith Park past the Merry-go-round and park in Lot 2.  Keep following the signs as they head up the hill.  We will be at the site of the OLD Zoo – in what was probably once a lion habitat or something.  For more directions, go HERE.

The show will go from 2-4pm (sharp).  Please leave yourself at least 15 minutes to get parked and walk up the hill.  We will begin with a shortened “Open Mic” portion of the show, and it will be limited to kid-appropriate songs/acts only.  If you would like to perform a song or act, we would love to have you!  Just speak up and let us know.

Bring a picnic!  In fact, the group “Industry Mamas” will be having a potluck picnic right before the show – so come early if you want to meet some of our friends!

Forward to friends and family!  See you Sunday!  And remember – we’re going to the OLD Zoo – it is not the same as the zoo where you have to pay money to get in.  It’s FREE – and YOU get to be the animals.
